The first session of the Coordination Council of CHRDRI was held on April 11
On April 11, the first meeting of the Coordination Council of the Centre for Human Resource Development and Regional Initiatives was held.
Following the Rules of Organization of CHRDRI, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the Ministry of Education and Science, of the Employment Agency and the Institute of Public Administration, and of the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training.
Dr. Milena Kyoseva, Deputy Director Educational and Methodological Activities of CHRDRI presented the new structure of the institution. Five regional directorates - in Burgas, Pazardzhik, Pleven, Plovdiv and Smolyan operate within its structure since the beginning of 2024.
Mrs. Kyoseva pointed out that 78 courses for unemployed people are planned to be held for the year, and about 1,500 people are expected to take part in them. She also noted that a couple of trainings for employees of the state administration are planned in April.
Mrs. Liliya Lukaycheva – Acting Director of the Educational, Methodological and International Activities Directorate presented to the members of the Coordination Council the framework of the CHRDRI Development Strategy for the period 2024-2026 and the Action Plan for 2024 under the Strategy. The strategic documents set out several important strands of action: supporting the policies of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, providing more and higher quality trainings for the state administration to structures of the MLSP and other institutions and organizations working in the social sphere and in the field of the labor market. Increasing the internal staff capacity is among the objectives of the Center, as well as its development as a resource center, strengthening international partnerships, etc.
Data on the certification process of digital skills that the Center exercises as a Single Certification Center were also reported.
Since the launch of the campaign, for a period of 2 months, the certified persons are approximately 4,000.
