Interactive methods and techniques applied in the trainings

- Role games – implementation of roles draws the attention of the participants to new ideas and feelings, expectations and relations. This method is suitable of the formation of skills for adequately responding to a particular situation.
- Simulation games – the action takes place in an imaginary (simulated) storyline or reproduce real situation. The aim is to reproduce characteristics of a possible situation that requires a proper behavior. Simulation games helps students to acquire knowledge but the focus is on the formation of skills, building a character and values;
- Brainstorming – one of the most popular methods for finding resolution through uncritically presentation of different opinions – “generating ideas”;
- Case studies – presentation of a problem which is seeking various options to resolve it. The lecturer is just a moderator who directs the group in the right direction and the participants work mostly;
- Drawing ideas – this method gives an opportunity for provoking the imagination and associations of the participant on particular theme. It is suitable for new theme;
- Discussion – teaching method through dispute resolution, clarifying the contradictions, construction of thesis and antithesis. Generalization and systematization of the results. In the discussion, there is an exchange of information and clarification of alternatives;
- Panel discussion or group work – method for exchanging opinions and searching for resolutions on complex problem. Working in subgroups, each of them receive specific task – part of the overall problem. The resolution of the general problem is the sum of separate decisions in the subgroups;
- Avalanche (snowball) – method/technique for collecting information by “accumulation”. Can be applied orally or in writing;
- Consultations in the workplace (remote by e-mailing) – after finishing the training within a predetermined period, participants are consulted by the trainer on issues related to training and their application in a real working environment. Consultations take place over the Internet;
