What does validation mean?
Validation is the recognition of knowledge, skills and competences already acquired through non-formal learning and/or practical experience.
How can one get validated?

After submitting the application, by sending it via e-mail to the center at chrdri@chrdri.net or in person at CHRDRI, we will reach you through the person in charge of the procedure and you will make all other steps together.
What documents are required?
You have to gather the necessary evidence for your knowledge and skills, such as, for example, service book, social security book, educational level document, attestations, references, certificates and other documents from previous professional trainings, artifacts, photos of artifacts, etc.
What steps does the procedure involve?
- proof and verification of the requested knowledge and skills;
- additional training to fill the gaps if necessary;
- passing state examinations to certify qualification.
When do you need additional training?
The Committee for identifying the knowledge, skills and competences of the person who has requested the validation shall test the level of his professional knowledge, skills and competences for which he does not provide evidence or the evidence presented does not correspond to the learning outcomes of the State Educational Standards for acquiring a qualification in the respective profession. In case insufficient, incomplete or missing knowledge, skills and competences are identified, the Committee shall draw a prescription for additional training of the person, which is conducted with highly qualified teachers, until filling up the gaps, both in theory and in practice of the profession.
What will it cost me?
The cost of the procedure will be calculated individually depending on the degree of qualification, the need for additional individual training and certification of the missing knowledge and skills, etc.
What document do I get?
Depending on the requested certification, either of knowledge, skills and competences in a specialty or only in part of a specialty, you receive the respective document for validation of professional qualification.

Vocational training centers are also entitled to carry out validation procedures. The Vocational Training Center at the Center for Human Resource Development and Regional Initiatives will perform validation in the professions it has license for, issued from NAVET.
Certificate for validation of professional qualification (template): is issued after successfully passed state examinations in theory and practice of the profession for validation of a degree of professional qualification, recognizing all units of learning outcomes, included in the state educational requirement for acquiring a qualification in a profession, have been recognized.
Certificate for validation of professional qualification in part of a profession (template): is issued after successfully passed state examinations in theory and practice of the profession for validation of a degree of professional qualification, recognizing one or more units of learning outcomes, included in the state educational requirement for acquiring a qualification in a profession, have been recognized.
Currently, the Center is in a validation campaign for the following specialties:
- profession Baker-confectioner, code 541030, specialty Production of confectionery, code 5410302.
- profession Chef, code 811070, specialty Production of culinary products and beverages, code 8110701
- profession Manicurist-pedicurist, code 815030, specialty Manicure, pedicure and nail art, code 815301.
